Gearbox Question Again Sorry Guys.

oh wise ones!!!

What would i have to do to a AR35 box to Fit it in the Place of a AR25 box :question  

Is it esay enough to swap if it can at all :question

Oh and i am talking about a autobox.

nothing, its a straight swap. Externally, in terms of size & connections they are exactly the same.

But if you have a 2.0, why on earth do you need an AR35?

I'm just wondering how you're going to manage to fit it when a gearbox is probably a big as you are!  ;)  ;)  ;)  :y  :y

An AR35 has a higher Gear ratio and will not be good for a 4 pot 2.0l

Just because i am small does not mean im strong..... im in the armed forces im strong enough. and anyhow i wount be lifting it ill use a jack!

Looks like im best to stick to the AR25 just got to find one now!!!
or find a newer omega ;D ;D ;D

NOTE, that if you have 2.0 16V engine, you need AR25 FROM 2.0 16V!! Not from TD or V6. Otherwise you will have to change bellhousing and connection with driveshaft. Dont know if that's that easy so, better to look for an autobox from 2.0 engine.

changing bell housing and rear yoke are easily done full marks to mkaminski for recalling that one!(did i spell your name right?)
