Sounds like the ABS ECU but there maybe an expert along soon to give their thoughts.

Did the speedo suddenly pack up or did it gradually get worse e.g. worked for first few miles each day then stop.

Is there actually a bulb in the ABS dash light? ( My car had had the EML bulb taken out when I bought it from Network Q)

I tried everything to fix my problem before resorting to having to change the ECU. Mine was just ABS, speedo, TC and cruise control. Steering was unaffected.

The job is a fiddle but is well documented on the forum.

Interesting.

When you turn the ignition on, I assume the TC and ABS lights come on and then go off again?

Has this just started to happen and was the speedo working ok before?

Any other symptoms, is the average speed reading ok on the MID (need to reset it whilst driving)?
