odd wheels/tyres.....
« on: 23 February 2008, 22:54:21 »

My 1999 Elite has vauxhall 15" wheels, it's a mini facelift... is this correct? Thought that they all came with 17" rims?

They should be 16"  on a mini facelift and 17" on the facelift.

If yours is the one in the pic it is a cdx which does have 16" wheels as standard it is only the elite and mv6 that had 17's

that still makes my 15" ones COMPLETELY WRONG though.

I refer back to previous post about getting a standard set from scrappy or maybe think about a decent set of after market alloys in the near future.

There is a guy on here called markey mark who offered me a set of 16" elite soft star wheels with good tyres for £80 if you check some of the threads in the parts for sale section you should be able to get hold of him.
I started the thread heading wanted cheap 16" wheels.

My `99 CD estate has 205-65 R15`s.....`I don`t think that they`re not the correct 'factory' fitted 15" rims for that model/year.

I`ve had good experiences with the Vredestein brand of Dutch tyres.....`hard wearing and grippy.
