The locking kit is available from members on here, I would suggest contacting TheBoy who should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi bighed,
There are lots of places to get Cambelt kits from such as this one on eBay but make sure it's the correct kit for your models year! there are several. Gates are fine but expect to pay £30 to £40 more a genuine VX kit.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Sintra-Vectra-Omega-V6-Timing-Cam-Belt-Kit-new_W0QQitemZ230237388145QQihZ013QQcategoryZ10404QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

As for the locking kit some OOF members loan them out so just ask.

Also as said get the DVD it's great and a must have aid , also if your water pumps relatively old then for approx. £25 it's worth doing at the same time due to work involved being almost the same:y.

Thanks, Bought the dvd from the shop about 5 hours ago. Not here yet  ;D

Do water pump at same time. Right "Mental note"  ::)

From what I have seen off forum you need 500 or more posts to borrow locking kit. I take it its a kit just for this engine??

yes the kit is specific for the v6 engine.there are kits on ebay made by lazer but i have been advised by members who know much more than me that they dont trust their accuracy and that sykes pickavant is the one to use (expensive).i am pretty sure if you buy the cambelt kit from autovaux they also hire the locking setting/ tools,so that may be your best option if you need to do the belt in a hurry.

please do skimp on your cambelt,  you pay for what you get, go genuine vx,  and yes change the water pump to.

i am lucky, have 2 mates that work at vx, so very lucky

Gates kits generally seem to have alignment markings on too, unlike the Vauxhall ones. Makes fitting easier.

i got a gates kit from vauxhall spares centre, romford, about £70.havent put it on yet though :-[..........p.s. they have an ebay shop...having said that if you want to hire the locking kit you might be better getting belt kit from autovaux and hiring the tools at the same time.
