mgf headgasket

Hi ,51 plate mgf 1.6 headgasket,anyone done one,friend of mines has gone and she been quoted £900,asked me to do it,but not sure whether to take it on or not!....thanks...Wayne

Dont.....they are bad enough but on an MGF they are even harder (no room to get at the belts etc)

Its an easy one with the access, but the 1.8 looks very tight in there (not seen looked at a 1.6 in one)

My Dad's Head Gasket went on his MGF earlier this year, he nearly died when he got the bill for just over £1100 :-[
