That 2nd from last piccy, is that a traffic cone in the middle of the field?

Yes.  It's a horse's field........and the white things in the foreground are called sheeps ;)

 :)I love Cumbria. Did yet another of my trips to Millom today. Will be there again this week & never tire of the scenery. If my house was worth enough i'd move, but it's worth 90k+ so do'nt think i could afford it. :'(

You could buy a mansion in Millom for £90k :y
:)If i thought i could i'd look into it. I know work can be scarce in some Cumbrian towns but with an HGV i can work anywhere.

I was in the Lake District 20 years ago today. I was camping in a forest during the night of the 1987 hurricane. After finishing a bottle of very fine single malt whisky I didn't hear a thing although my mates said that it did get a bit windy during the night.

When we went to a pub for breakfast the next morning and saw the news on TV we were totally gobsmacked.

Luckily for us, Cumbria got off virtually unscathed.  :o
