Help i let hubby loose on the car and now.........

he Managed to break the new check strap assembly. >:(

I have put it back together but know i dont know which way round it goes on the car. its for the passenger side.

Has anyone got a picture or can they explain which way round it goes.

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

His words were i cant get my hands in and the bolts arnt long enough. told him to move so i could give it ago but no he was determined to sort it. sort it my arse!

More then a warning debs hes not allowed near it now! unless its to fill her up!

he was in a bad enough mood as it was when he broke it so an ear bashin of me wouldnt have made things any better.

i need help please someone must have a picture or one they could look at to help me.

i had a look i need to see which way round the gubbings go inside the door. does the large metle bit point up or down. (not the actuall chack strap)

Try having a look at the other door that's ok?
And do the passenger door the same?

Sorry, haven't had the need to take mine apart yet to have a look.
No doubt that'll be 'Famous Last Words' next time I post.  :(
