2.2 Omega Autogearbox Problem

HI ,I am having a problem with my automatic gearbox.When i start the car a orange light with a exclamation mark similar as the hand brake appears.When i put the gear on drive it dont have power to move the omega .I have to change the gears mannualy from 1st gear to D.
Can anyone please advise me what todo .
