lumpy starting
« on: 30 May 2008, 17:13:30 »

Hi, Changed spark plugs and leads, after taking into vauxhall for rocker gasket found they had broke the end off one of the leads and was arcing. But since replacing it starts lumpy and then runs fine but a slight smell of fuel then goes away. Could this be a duff plug, they were geniune VX, leads were motor factor sourced.

My first step would certainly be worth removing the plug that had the dodgy lead on to check for damage etc :y.
