cam sensor

Hi was hoping someone can tell me where to find the cam sensor on a 2.o r-reg,changed the crank sensor on monday but the eml is still coming on with a dip in the revs so guess it may be the cam sensor,so want to change that to any help will be great,

its right at the front, near the cams, should see a wire going into it right at the front of the ecotec strip.

You need to take the cam cover off, there is a tiny bolt holding it in, sits between the cams.

And take the ecotec strip (spark plug cover) off and unplug the sensor first.  

A simple clean of the sensor and it's mating surface often fixes the problem, so cheaper to give that a go first rather than buying a new one.
