I told you a while back that it cost me £850 to have the cam belts done on the wifes ZT

Well, the clutch has gone now. It's a sealed unit, the master and slave cylinders come as one part joined with a pipe. The slave lives INSIDE the transmission. So, basically, if a cylinder leaks, it's new clutch.

Wait for it...........£800 to £900


Omegas? Cheap  

New master cylinder (£155+VAT) seems to have cured it. Although, I have heard, once the master goes, the slave is usually not far behind. Time will tell.

Hmmmm.......the alfa.

Needs a rad. Bought it (£165 Valeo) but cant afford to have it fitted now. The one that's in it will do for now.

The gearbox has a slight leak.

The xenons shine about two foot in front of the car. If I put my main beam on, it shines like normal dipped beam. That will be self levellers as well then.

What was wrong with the old self adjusting cable clutches...

The ford ones were awful. They used to click all the time and even just go straight to the floor now and again. They were a swine to fix once they'd gone as well.
