im giving the mig a good run next weekend down to porthmadog in wales any members reccomend
anything to do down there, swmbo had the idea so i can show her i can spend time with her and not the mig  ;D

From memory (been a few years), you have the slate mines at Blaneau Festiniog, and the hydro electric power station there. A nuclear station being decomissioned nearby.  Depends what you're in to...

A trip to Anglesey is worth while too.

OK the last time I went there was 15 years ago but there is a lot to see.

Been about 11 years ago to Snowdonia, pre children.

Awaiting the end of Brunstromia before I next visit.
