I'm broadly in agreement with TB on this. Eastenders is dire - it doesn't reflect real life as the Beeb is fond of saying, but there are many that think it does and try to emulate the characters. It is depressing, violent and, well, plain awful to my mind.

However, I did say broadly in agreement. Working from home and generally taking my lunch from one to two, I can often be seen watching the news and Neighbours. Yes, Neighbours! I do admit to getting a morsel of enjoyment from watching TV from a land where barbies are the norm, every house has a pool, people don't stay miserable for more than two minutes and (this is the clincher) the car mechanics all seem to be nubile young wenches.    

Russian skaters, female mechanics. I'm starting to get a bit worried about you Nick :-?

You're worried? I can't sleep at night!  

I'm starting up a new chat line for those with a similar problem:

"Hallo?"

"Hallo, my little mishkin. Zis is Olga from Moscow, I am blonde, beautiful and very good with cars"

"I have a V6"

"You naughty boy"

"Can you talk dirty"?

"Of course, my sweet. You have mayo in your header tank..."
