And this replacement gearbox? You are planning on fitting on my tractor?

;)

You want a manual tractor  :o :o
The auto simply doesn't suit it. I am constantly shouting at the bloody box for being so stupid...

Would you also need to change the prop shaft if converting to a manual?
Not checked, but would imagine they are the same...

nope manua prop is longer, but its easy to just use the front of a manual prop as they are the same length from centrebearing back, the 2 halves just slide together on a masterspline system :y

Hardly any! apparently the very end of line Diesels did (It's listed in the manual with my car).

As the TD is really at it's best when 'on turbo' I wondered if the five speeder would suit the characteristics of the 2.5TD better? I believe that's the reason why VX fitted it to the 4 pot TD's at the end.
None did.  The last of the diesels (all 2.2DTi) were manual only.

It must have been seriously considered though to be included in the manual? (P135 Edition October 2002) Or was it purely non UK spec cars?

Also Han's V6 had 5 speed box (admitedly not a UK spec car and also Petrol)
