Where is the engine number hiding on my V6?

If I remember correctly it is down on the right hand side (looking from the front) of the engine. ;)   It takes some looking for with a torch though! ::)

mid way up on that right side ;)   Well at least it is on mine! :)

on myn its near the oil filter housing on a flat 45o angled piece of casting. Slightly to the rear of the crank sensor iirc.

aw... not  so sure its the engine no. now. Might be gearbox related no. There is def a  number there on myn at least.

Down by the oil filter there is certainly the engine type engraved i.e. X25XE or X30XE...not sure about engine number...

Yeah, you got that right. £70 a minute 5 hours on hold to get through to india, to be told they dont make watches. Spot on!  :y
