Just passed the 20K mark. In human terms that means not ready for playgroup yet.  ;)

154k for my 3.0 MV6, although it had done over 100k in the first 3 years of police ownership. It also had a top end rebuild about 3 years ago when the belt snapped. The odd electrical niggle, and a noisy diff, but it's still going well.

Just passed 174K on mine at the weekend... surprisingly seems I've got the highest mileage in this thread. Mileage is slowly edging up now as I barely use the car since moving into the city centre so I expect some of the guys on 170K to have passed my mileage shortly. Saying that, I have toyed with the idea of giving the Omega to my dad to use for going to work as he does 60+ miles per day, and I could just use my BMW instead, but I'd be stuck if I need to carry more than one passenger so the Omega stays doing mostly nothing for now.

My bargain Elite estate's done 114k but you wouldn't think so :) It's amazing that you can find a car with half that mileage which feels like pooh but then a meega with 114k feels superb! Says it all really.

Agreed, they do take the miles well. I remember years ago my dad had an Astra company car, and by the time it had 60,000 miles on it (many of which were motorway miles) the gearshift was like stirring a pot of porridge and there was noticeable slack in the steering. The gearshift on my Omega still has very little play and the steering had no noticeable slack at all. They do feel a lot better built than most other Vauxhalls (possibly something to do with being re-badged Opels built in Germany?)

One thing they don't fare so well with is age -- the rust inevitably gets them, particularly the doors and rear wheel arches. Mine is doing pretty well in this regard but I guess it's a matter of time  :-X
