I had my W plate Omega polished alloys refurbed after they suffered salt corrosion.

Nice man whisked them off to Newcastle, sand blasted them clean, quick rub with wet n dry and then resprayed them Star Silver and baked them in an oven.

I don't think the process is over technical, but these places usually have a range of previously done wheels to look at, and if you're not happy with the finish - get them to do it again!

Make sure they have a set of donor wheels if it's an overnighter though  :y
