i wont lol i dont like spending cash on things that need to be done let alone things that dont need to be, but the belt needs to be done every 40k miles dont it? just wish it was cheaper!  :y

Car written off as un-economical repair,if the belt snaps and destroys your engine...

Ai, when u look at the bigger picture £240 quid dont seem so bad , its just handing over the cash it hard to do, but if it keeps the silver beast on the road its worth it in the end  :y

Totally mate...

Just not worth the risk.....im Scottish mate,so i certainly dont like parting with my cash!  ;D but i was actually quuite happy to hand over my £240...it was worth it to have peace of mind.... :y

Arent there certain engines used in the omega range that dont have a belt but use a chain that never needs to be changed? i cant afford a bigger engine,already paying over a grand insurance on a 2.2 lol  but a mate is after a omega

chains need replacing as well, and cost a damn sight more
