Falken FK452 Tyres

Thinking of getting a full set of these, has anyone had any experience with them on a Mig?

I have just worn a set out. Good wet and dry handling , wear rates seemed ok. I still have them on my TVR and VW Golf. Just replaced them with Falken ZE912's on the Omega as I do a shed load of motorway miles and the 912's (NOT 512s as they are the old model and are rubbish!) were cheaper and seemed well rated as a cruising tyre. I havent been disappointed so far (3k ish miles in) they are performing nicely.

camskill online is the cheapest place to get them

I've heard good things about these too - funny that, I'm about to get a full set too!

Web reviews are very complimentary of these - apparently similar in performance to the Toyo Proxes T1-R.

I was just about to order them off blackcircles - or get them fitted at WIM before getting the geometry done - but the camskill site shows the cheapest price I've ever seen for them! - well worth buying four, getting them delivered, and chucking them in the car to get fitted at WIM (to be fair, I haven't checked how much they'd charge to fit them).

Spooky that ::)

I've just been speaking to Tony @ WIM about prices for a set of four as I want to get them fitted before my geo is set up :y

Use WIM for the Geo and tyre fitting , I wouldnt let anyone else near my Miggy but you really wont get a cheaper price for tyres than Camskill. Been there done that, now I just go to camskill for tyres then get WIM to fit them.

Just what I was thinking - I'd definitely go nowhere else for the geo setup. Can I ask how much WIM charges to fit tyres?

That's pretty good! for about 7.50 a corner more, all fitted, than camskill, that sounds like my next order is sorted. thanks for that  :y

Camskill are charging £73.80 ea at the moment - plus delivery gets it up to about £75 a tyre. To get them fitted at WIM would cost more than to buy them from there and get them fitted! :y

Good all round tyre for the price, exceptional grip in the dry, above average in the wet, and quiet, never use them on the mig yet, but on my Volvo 850R I get around 4000 miles out of them before there shreaded, which is good.  :y
