I kinda get the feeling he wouldnt sell it that cheap anyway ;D

ya never know, its all i can stretch to so if he says yes then i'll be pleased!

bought a PS3 last month, kinda skint now!!

How good do you think the PS3 is compared to the PS2 :-? :-?

the graphics are noticably better, especially on car games, football games and in particular Resistance Fall Of Man shooting game, i stood in front of a building with a large window and shot at the glass, and the window was breaking in the right places where i shot it, not like older games where the whole lot broke in the same way no matter where abouts you shot it... although i got bored of dying all the time! And i like the whole "menu" style it has to it aswell, i think i need a better TV though now! I do actually think its overpriced, but I bought it because at the time I really wanted it, there's also the factor of it having it's reverse capability with PS2 games meaning i could keep hold of most of the ps2 games i had, it came with 2 games and a DVD (casino royale in this case) and also the fact that it has 60gb storage as opposed to a little 8mb storage card slotted in the front!, not to mention WIRELESS controller!! I've no regrets about shelling £350 for it anyway!

I'd had my ps2 about 5 years and still managed to sell it for only £40 less than i paid for it!

Nintendo Wiiiiiiiiiii's do lack power, and the graphics (i've been told) are nothing too special, but i think people seem to really like the way they're more involved when playing it instead of sat on the couch pressing buttons, my brother said he had a right laugh playing on one somewhere anyway!

If you only want a games console then the PS3 is expensive

If you break it down and compare to an X-box 360 though it is quite cheap

The PS£ is a blueray player which will cost you over £300 pounds onit's own!,It also has an internet browser built in(bit slow though)
built in wireless,video/music streaming from your pc to your tv,and a 60 gb storage capability.

the 360 will cost 100 pound less to buy but wireless adapter is £60 and HD DVD player another£130

If you play online 360 costs £40 per year,PS3 is free but not as good

graphics on both are HD with the PS3's slightly better (you need a HD 1080 tv to get the best out of either)

PS3 comes as a60 or 40 GB version (only 60 gb one is backward compatable with PS2 games)

The Wii is a lot of fun but graphics are not in the same league.

I have all three and use all of them for different things so am totally un-biased

I think you are right only 60 gb version is wireless, which makes the 40gb one really uneconomical at only £50 cheaper!!!

Goto Menu/settings/network settings/internet connection and enable it a green light comes on to the right hand side, next to the hdd light(by your 4 usb ports)

did you know you can plug in a keyboard, (or use a bluetooth one) and printers and most bluetooth phone headsets can be used when online gaming

I have a Wii at the moment i am  looking after it for a mate for acouple of months ::) ::)

i use it with a projector that fills the full wall it is good fun playing with mates but i would not pay the money people are wanting for them as i dont use it enough. i might get one when all the hype dies down and the prices drop, i think there will be loads for sale acouple of months after xmas as people get bored of them really quick
