LPG Availability...
« on: 12 December 2007, 13:13:58 »

... If there is a fuel strike, and hypothetically everyone panic buys and petrol becomes difficult to get...

... what are my chances of being able to still get LPG?

I rekon there's enough petrol in the tank to keep me going till next March ;D

Fuel shortage is a self-fulfilling prophecy, someone starts a roumer (rightly or wrongly) about a looming fuel shortage, everyone panics and fills the tank to the brim, and presto, the fuel shortage is there just as the roumer predicted....

the only issue i could see would be if there was such a fuel shortage that the delivery tankers had no fuel themselves, this in turn then causes the issue of no LPG arriving on the forecourt.

This would be a very odd scenario and one i couldn't see happening, the army would gert involved looooooooong time before then
