A bundle of fault codes...but now it's OK...
« on: 23 February 2010, 21:14:04 »

2.5V6 petrol, year 2000 facelift: Driving along when the car loses power, recovers, loses power and the Engine Management Light comes on.

Stop the car, have a think. Re-start planning to drive home and all is fine.

Car drives fine for 10 miles, park it up. Cold starts fine.....

So I read the stored fault codes:

73 - Air Flow Sensor Low Voltage
89 - O2 Sensor 2 Low Voltage
13 - O2 Sensor 1 Open Circuit

Can't see any bad connections or air leaks. Car runs perfectly now.

Any suggestions? I'm a bit nervous about driving it in case it lets go again.

Good idea - if it goes again I'll unplug the MAF and see if I can get home!
