Is it me or do his eyes stick out more since his accident?

Did you see the other night & again when i woke up & 4am (repeat) He made a comment about sticking a kitchen knife through James May's neck. This was'nt tongue in cheekT.G. banter he had a real sneer on his face, brave of him to pick on James who is too laid back to bother.
I wish he'd drop the gob & girly hair & go back to being the Hamster. Sorry, ranting again but he's becoming tiresome now. :-X

I think if you went through the sort of accident Hamster did and survive then just live every day as a laugh. It wouldn't be top gear without all the sarcastic comments and its not like Clarkson doesn't wade in aswell.
This series was by far the funniest they've ever done and it will be back cause I think there would just be uproar if it didn't.

I watched the Evel Knievel documentary aswell and I think it goes back to don't meet your heroes cause you will only be disappointed. Yes he was a sick man as proved with his demise this year but he definately didn't like being asked tricky questions, when they were asking about the rocket launch in the bar and when he couldn't think of an answer he said they had to finish, and why would you eat a deep fried pork sandwich 48 hours after a stroke?!?
I found myself just being disappointed with a legend who to be honest came across as a bossy, arrogant and not all that nice a person.

......of course by then I was on my third Boddingtons so I could be talking b*ll*cks!!!!  ;D ;D

This is how most legends end up, TBH. Once they're no longer legends what are you left with?

A the risk of being branded a heretic on this wonderful forum, I thought the last series of Top Gear was dull. I never watched any programme all the way through as I got bored and found something better to do with my time.

I don't know what it was but the formula just didn't light my fire.  :-/ :-/ :-/

that's your opinion and you are welcome to voice it

i found there were times when it had lost its spark, but then there were times of sheer brilliance
