engine management light

engine management light comes on after 15mins driving
and sometimes cut the engine out
I have a Vauxhall Omega 2.0 on a P-Plate
How would it cost for me to get codes read

Dont fancy doing Paperclip Trick
as not got car know how 2 .. lol :-[ :-[

You can't go wrong doing the paperclip test really. Your location would help as someone may be just around the corner who could help.

keeps cutting out. sounds like the old crank sensor ploy.

Anything up to £70 from VX. Why don`t you just have a go yourself. If you don`t try, you won`t learn. Take your time reading through the guide and if necessary, print it off and sit in the car with it. You`ve got nothing to lose, money to save, and you`ve learnt a free way to monitor/diagnose any future EML faults :y
