Help needed
« on: 25 December 2007, 22:08:43 »

I'm sorry to have to ask this, and if the Mods remove it I will understand, but some help is needed.

If you read the articles at this link, you will understand the problem ...

http://www.arrse.co.uk/cpgn2/Forums/viewtopic/t=85216/postdays=0/postorder=asc/start=0.html

Please, if you find this as deplorable as I do, go to this site, click the "contact me" link top right, and register your feelings. If enough folks do it the hope is he might take on the PM over the issue.

Thank you for your time

The "problem" is the fact that the "pc brigade" are trying to ensure nothing potentially offends anyone.
Alas we are now in a position where the ignorant, ill educated bigoted fools are being listened to.... >:(

Rest assured this thread is going nowhere!

While I may not agree with what we did in Iraq these guys are laying down their lives to protect the rest of us. For that they will always have my support!  :y

I read the linked post and really dont know wether to laugh or cry. What the bloody hell is going wrong with officialdom in this country? They send brave people out to fight their illegal futile war but are then too completely ashamed and embarrassed to allow them to be seen in uniform in public when they return. I simply cant follow the twisted politically correct logic of this and dont believe for a moment this has anything to do with security. As for asking David Cameron for help isnt he also a fully paid up member of the unaccountable political elite - Tony Blair Lite. This is a man who stands for absolutely nothing except getting himself elected. He cant even publically bring himself to finally admit or deny Cocaine use shiftily avoiding answering any questions - all in the name of privacy. Just wait till the Daily Mirror splash that story all over their front page to help out our Great Leader Gordon Brown during the next election campaign.

Protect us from these third world countries becoming neucular capable, protecting human rights, protecting ours and your families, protecting our way of life by trying to stop these terrorists, if nothing was done and we all sat back then our way of life would change.
Ok there was no proof that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, BUT if they had and when others DO they will not think twice about sending them over here etc.
These people need stopping in their tracks, they WILL use them if allowed to build them.

The problem is that in Iraq we have achieved absolutely nothing. They are not safer in the south and Basra has been handed over to war lords and criminal gangs. We are most certainly not safer now, a great deal of the Middle East now despises the West. What the future now holds as a result of this god only knows but we have certainly sawn the seeds. This was a stupid, stupid war entered into by Tony Blair as part of a secret pact with George Bush. Make no mistake this has been a humiliating military defeat for Britain, the British Army has effectively been sent packing out of Basra. No matter how much gloss the politicians try to throw over the facts this has been a defeat and we have had to scuttle off just as we did at Suez tail between our legs. The remaining decent people of Basra have now been abandoned to their fate ending completely any pretence that we were doing any good. We dont even have any military hospitals to treat our poor wounded soldiers let alone the correct equipment to protect them in the first place. They the foolish Labour party entered into a stupid illegal war and tried to run it on the cheap with no equipment and everything ordered last minute to maintain the pretence of the parlimentary war vote. Some territorial soldiers dident even have any ammunition let alone body armour. Once its over it will be thank you very much, very sorry you were injured or disabled but please join the back of the queue at your local NHS hospital. By the way please remove your British military uniform as many people find it offensive and would in anycase rather not be reminded of this whole horrible shameful debarcle. The politicians are now quietly ashamed and the soldiers are being left to rot. Shame on you Gordon Brown.-
