« on: 24 June 2010, 19:27:40 »

my 3.0l manual w-reg elite drives great no dash lights on etc when pottering about or even just putting foot down in high gears

but noticed today when having to pull out a junction fast it pulled fine in 1st,then quick change to 2nd and floored it,the car made a deep sound and no power, just for a split second then took off as normal

what could of caused this?

This sounds like traction control at work. Happens with my car all the time if I change too hard (both up and downshift).

If it`s switched off, no. Is the TC light permanently on :question

TC is always on unless you press the button to disable it. When disabled the light comes on to show that it is disabled.
