Rear suspension overhaul
« on: 31 July 2010, 12:21:58 »

planning on doing a complete rear suspension and subframe overhaul in a couple of weeks.

I have a few questions regarding some bushes.

Can i fit the cheaper carlton subframe to chassis mounts?

The long threaded adjuster bar that goes from near the diff to the bottom of the hub carrier is called? trailing arm?

I have planned on removing one wishbone setup at a time, repainting, re-bushing and undersealing the rear of the car.
I would like to replace all the bushes in the arm but would you do that?

I dont plan of getting rid of the car at all as its a weekend toy.

Thanks

Snap  im planning on doing mine this week but im going to remove the whole subframe and sorting the rust to the floor/chassis rails .

I was going to replace all the bushes as well but its not going to be cheap..  I've got part nos and prices for most of the bushes if you want them.
