hi all , i guess this isn't in the right area for posting and will probably be moved but i just wanted to say a massive thanks to gstyle , what a top bloke , i always thought forums etc were just for scrounging knowledge but i guess this forum is different , went way above and beyond and came to the rescue of a fellow OOF member , top bloke , i hope the sun shines on every venture you undertake gstyle , you deserve it .

injector , moved the fauty injector to another cylinder and hey presto that cylinder wont fire .

Crickey, a failed injector, thats a first...........get a second hand one as they are mega reliable

thats what gstyle said lol i've run it passed my uber knowledgeable gandalf mechanic and he says there isn't anything else it could be taking into account all the other factors , i'm on the case now going to post in for sale and see who comes up with the cheapest nearest fastest solution lol nearest is probably gonna win followed by early availability tommorrow coming a close second , i hate having my baby sat doing nothing , its just not right lol

No chance! I have to work weekdays, saturday afternoon would be ok, but if you want it sooner you can either come up tommorow after 5.30 or I could post it on next day special delivery for an extra 6 quid.

bummer  , i can't get a lift in the evenings , at least , my lift wont look at being anywhere near the motorways north of manchester at that time of day  can't say i blame him though lol i can't really afford to have the car off the road till thur either so i'm gonna work on getting another lift and then get back to you if thats ok , also going to see if there is anything closer available for coll tommorrow , i'll keep you posted , thanks for your help so far

cheers g , sorry for the late reply but ive been stuck under me bonnet for two days lol had the mrs stood in a blowing gale holding a stand lamp upside down yesterday when it got dark ( she's a good un !) the car absolutely flies now mate , better than before , only problem is it keeps stalling lol its going on he ramp tommorrow , gonna have the codes wiped and then start from scratch see what the new issue is , theres a couple of things it might be but i've had enough of knuckle rash and putting flat head srew drivers through me finger lol so its off to the proffesionals (F.O.C) whislt the boss is away my mates can play lmao
