I've decided to accept that wishbones are a service item. The cheapies I fit last around 2 years (I replaced the last set earlier than entirely needed as I wanted new tyres and geometry done) and as I change them myself there is no labour cost to factor in

That said, I'm not 100% convinced that one of the bushes isn't on its way out and these have been on under a year :-/

Bearing in mind how quickly MDTM got through the last set of Lemforder ones I'm happy with changing them frequently TBH, with the state of our roads nowadays it's probably a good thing that the geometry is done regularly

Which is why I, personally, feel that the cheapies are OK for me because I have no labour charges involved in changing them. If I was paying someone to do it then it would be a different matter

Agreed but, what I am saying is that I am not convinced that the Lemforder ones are worth the extra 60-70 quid
