been watching it on Sky in the past, they are nutters, but they earn the wedge for the risk.

i think it was something like yellowknife is the nearest town from where they are based

Yep it is Yellowknife, watched that last night, pretty cool, work for 2 months and have the rest of the year off, but the bloke they let start off first, lives in yellowknife, has been doing the run for 25 years and has 11 kids :o :o

If he only works for 2 months of the year what do you expect, he needs another hobby ;D

It's actually an effing great big lake and I believe it's the only route to the diamond mines. When the lake thaws the mines have to be supplied by boat.
