I was in the Navy, a ‘Ganges Boy’ then off to Gosport and the Fleet Air Arm.
Thought Lofty was the name for someone who was shorter than you.
Can you still get ‘Blue Liners’? :D

yep but our marines are the best in the world and the seaking mk4 support them which is what the rn have, as well as the harrier gr7/9 which do bombing runs etc and i cant say anymore now or ill get in the naff!!

MK 4 makes them sound modern. ::)
