Thanks ghondie for your kind offer of help...at present the original unit is somewhere in the postal system (5 days overdue but fortunatley was sent recorded so can do a claim if all else fails)on its way back to supplier.He has offerd to do a full replacement of the contro; unit and also said would send me a complete kit so can find out which bit is knackered and then i will send the bits back that i didn,t use...what a decent guy.
The confussion was with the blue loop wire,but this seems to be less of an issue at the moment as explained above.Anyway when i do get the bits back will still need to know IF the blue wire needs cutting once the setup is complete?
