At least you could just chuck all 4 tractor wheels on for the retest  ;D  ::)
Can get away with just the 2 fronts (as long as axle is same)

You could just fit the spare......perfectly acceptable.
Apparently not for MOT, as its a space saver...

Its not a space saver as its a standard fit Omega wheel size which is rated to the correct load and to the national speed limit.

You just need to fit both spares on the same axle (you have two given that you own two Omegas!)

Yes, I could do that if the tractor had a similar steel wheel, but it doesn't (full size alloy). He said as long as the wheels/tyres were same size on the axle, no probs.

I shall take fronts off ttactor to get through MOT

Brakes aren't too bad to do provided the drum isn't worn too much.

I'd think you may need new shoes

Have you tried driving with hand brake on to clean the drum.

Not entirely sure what to do about the handbrake either?  I guess strip it down, and see if anything wrong?

Trouble is, it stops on a slope, but obviously not efficient enough still for MOT.

Has anyone stripped handbrake down? Is it easy/obvious?

Mine failed last year just on handbrake (2% off) so followed maintenace guide again last weekend and it passed Monday,no problem.

Heat shield nuts/studs can be problem though, if they haven't been off for a long time.   :)

Mr DTM`s guide is excellent on the handbrake  -  its a fiddly job but not too hard...mines just disintegrated when i removed the shoes....

Which reminds me i need to do the same on the Grand Cherokee tomorrow...

Want the set of my 2.2 just to get it MOT?

I know you don't like the grip, but should get you though. I won't need the 2.2 for a few days  :-X
