is it possible to fit  an original omega sat nav to a cdx model with a ccrt700, if so what does in entail.

The two systems are seperate from each other. Well ....... the screen sits next to the radio but electrically they're quite seperate! ;)  :y

In theory you could fit an NCDC1100 and CID.......

I agree, Jule's guide is very good IF YOU HAVE THE PLUG, which is likely on all V6s that have the TC switch above radio, and unlikely if TC switch is to left of radio.
