Looking at the list, think I'll skip my auto box oil change, what do you think?

Its not a bad job, i can bring my ramps?

Its just a case of removing all the nuts and removing the sum, and cleaning it.

Once one the ramps, it prob takes less than 1 hour.

The jobs your's  :y

While i am tinkering doing that.... fix my handbrake cable  ;)  :y

No probs :y

Do I need gaskets, filter etc?

Yep!

I think KevinW got a set for £35 is off ABS?

Two gaskets (unless you use liquid gasket). Filter can be cleaned but the ABS price is very good.

PM me if you want the chaps email address or if you are an ABS member take a look on the back page of the SSN magazine.

Yep. From Dave Kember as advertised in the back of straight 6 news. £35 including postage for the filter and 2 gaskets.

Fluid from Opie oils (remember to register as an OOF member for discount). Fuchs 4000 for about 40 quid for 10 litres, IIRC.

How often should the fluid be changed? My cars done 54k and seems to havebeen sold because the previous owner couldn't be bothered to do things like wishbones and brakes so I'm assuming the fluids not been changed either.  :(
