ccr 2006 and sat nav

Hi

Can the sat nav or colour display work with the ccr 2006 if so where is a good place to get one

If not what is a good recomendation for the front end

CCR2006 will only work with MID or TID.  For CID or GID, you need NCDC range stereo. There are some wiring differences as well.

Sorry im new here so I dont understand the abreviations. Can you explain them does this mean sat nav cannot be fitted to the existing system.

If you want to fit Sat Nav you need to replace both the ccr2006 and your current screen. That means a NCDC2013 / 2015 in replace if the ccr 2006 and a Colour Info Display (CID) instead of your Multi Info Display (MID).

I did this on my omega a few years ago a wrote up the procedure here:

It's do-able but quite expensive given the cost of Tom Tom etc.
