hi all ,im looking for a way to connect my ipod to my system , is that possible ricky :)

I used to, but found the quality wasn't as good as the FM ones.  But for a cheap and cheerful intermittent use of gayPod or similar MP3 player, it will work

Exactly, I'm not using it all the time, so just needed a quick cheap fix...  It's not too bad tho tbh, works well enough!

Exactly, I'm not using it all the time, so just needed a quick cheap fix...  It's not too bad tho tbh, works well enough!
Back in the days when we used to do the south of France trips, I used to plug my iPaq in via cassette adapter, so I had tunes and satnav through stereo.  It works, though for more permenent, I'd go for FM

Certainly wouldn`t use FM modulators when these are readily available

is there no way i can wire directly into the unit , ie ant aux imputs , on my van i made an phono socket and wired into back of stero

Yep !!

Basically a small 60W amp with an aux input (or leads for whatever is connecting up) and in inline ISO plug to make installation a doddle.

I would imagine that your van stereo had something a little better than the piece of junk fitted to Omega`s !!

I am not impressed with the standard Kit, No,

But even less impressed with anything that has BOSE on it.

Incidentally, the link to the IQ player I gave earlier will NOT work with the truly awful BOSE system.

aux in is mono, and designed for phone etc.
