CDR500 question is it faulty?
« on: 09 February 2009, 19:38:56 »

I have just replaced my radio /cassette player in my miggy with a used CDR500 player. Now i swapped it over typed in the code radio works perfick but then had trouble loading a CD it just didnt want to know it spit it out every time I pushed one in tried several!  In the end I managed to get it to load by doing this -
Turn off the player push the cd in the slot then turn on the player radio plays & it sucks the cd into the player, then pressed the CD button & it finds the tracks & plays, then to remove it press the cd button again & the cd comes out but the flippin cd player motor spins for ages after, after it stops i can then put another cd in
Then to put a cd back I have to repeat the procedure ?? is this right as
I had one before in a previous car & dont recall having to mess about so much . :-[

Loading sensor has failed - can be fixed, but expensive
