audio advice
« on: 02 March 2009, 13:18:18 »

I need some advice if anyone can help. I have an CCR2006 in  and it works perfectly, but I'm thinking of changing it with a double din navigation system. Also I'm thinking of changing the speakers. what are the sizes of the speakers in the doors if anybody knows? Also is it a big problem to mount a new head unit because I can read here that some folks had a bit of trouble with it.
And my final question is, does anybody know is it possible to find an adaptor for the new head unit so I can keep my wheel controls for the radio? I know that keenwood used to have adaptors for opel and vauxhall but haven't seen anything similar recently

Space behind the head unit is a serious issue on the Omega

Steering control capability is not usually a problem with many branded aftermarket head units, as long as you purchase (and can find space for) the relavent steering interface.
