Which Radio/Cd player?
« on: 08 July 2009, 17:43:43 »

I am considering upgrading my Radio to the CCRT700.
A few queries as to whether its worth doing. I am unsure as to which stereo & cd player I currently have fitted. All I know its a Philips head unit & a Blaupunkt Cd player. The head unit has Bose written on it where on previous cars I have owned have had the ccr*** number. Would it entail changing them as a pair and would the wiring already be in place for the microphone. I do have the roof ariel I noticed when I changed the heater control bulbs a blue & black wire taped up. Are these used for the phone system.
Hmm that was more than a couple of questions i know lol.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks Jez  :)

Really need the model number of that head unit to know where you are currently.

On the label on the side of the head unit will be some more numbers, and also the engraved serial number - let us have all the numbers and I`m sure we can work out what you have if indeed there are no markings on it.
