i have bought a new stalk for my 2.5 omega and have a stalk with 4 wires for the cruise controll,my mistake!needed the one with 2 wires,is there a way of wiring it to fit?

nope, you need the 2 wire one.

personally, i would not bother with second hand. They are only £30 brand new from a dealer. Second hand ones can fail as they become worn and the flash light trigger can become loose and come on when you don't mean it to.

Brand spankers one also have a much better feel, i used a scrappy one before and it was very clunky, brand new one is smoooooth to use.

2 and 4 wire ones not interchangable, and not modifable.

A shade under £40 from dealer by time vat is added. Not worth getting 2nd hand or pattern, as to be honest, you'll end up buying a genuine one anyway when it fails
