Retrofitting Cruise control
« on: 07 November 2009, 13:32:37 »

I have decided to retrofit my omega with cruise control. bought a new stalk on e-bay.
I have tried to fit this using the instructions on the forum, with no luck. the photoes are great, but they are not the same as my car. They also mention a 5th wire which I do not seem to have this raises several questions.
1) where is the 5th wire? do I need it?  2) my car is a 2001 2.6 V6 auto CD can it be retrofited for cruise control? 3) do I have the correct stalk?
All help is apreciated. Keel

you will need a new stalk, buy new from Vx, its only around £35.

Then need a chat with tech2 to enable  :)

Might be worth adding your location to your profile, you may have someone with tech2 near you
