mi heaters packed in

got in my car today 2.2 y reg auto and ive got no blower,it worked yesterday now nowt.the display works i can hear all the gubbins wurring behind it just no fan,i got no handbook wi car so looked on a thread on here and ive checked some fuses,is there any more fuses or checks i can do and is this common on these,im not too bad with a spanner and electrics just need to know where to look cheers

Fuse #33 under steering wheel and check main fuses by battery

My heater had packed in exactly the same, so I followed the thread on here describing removing the glovebox so I could get to the fan (I had already unblocked the scuttle drains, again using guidance from this website).

Once I had access I checked all the wiring connections and nothing made it work.  Bizarrely (I made sure the ignition was off first), when I opened what felt like a hinged hatch to get to the fan blades, I whizzed it round manually, tried the ignition, and hey presto, it was working!

Happy days.

all the best but i dont want to dampen your joy but that sounds like one day it will happen again,maybe it wont :y
