putting in code for cd/radio
« on: 01 February 2010, 19:48:04 »

Hi, am new here and not brilliant at cars or omegas!! Alarm went off so I need to put in the code , have done it before but forgotten how and have 'lost' my manual. I have the code which includes a zero but there is no zero on the key pad!i have omega 2.5. have tried to see if this kind of question posed before, couldn't see it, sorry if repetition and if it is abit obvious!! many thanks
in fact - any advice on the process of resetting with the code would be much appreciated to jog my memory!!

Turn the Ignition On and then turn the radio OFF.

Hold down the AS button on the Radio and then turn it back on.

Then use buttons 1,2,3,4 to enter your code, for instance if the code is 2036 you would

Keep pressing button 1 till digit 2 appearsin display, then
Press button 2 until 0 appears, then button 3 till 3 appears and then button 4 till 6 appears.

Once you.ve entered all four digits press the AS button again and it will work

All vauxhall stereos will have the model number screen printed on the fascia somewhere - along the lines of CCR206 or CAR400 - have another look in the daylight, and then we can post some accurate information for you.
