omega codes
« on: 18 March 2010, 14:21:40 »

hi everyone, ive just done done the paper clip test on my 2.0 omega gls its a x plate, the codes coming are 3 different codes

1....p-0130

2....p1502

3....p0130

i have done this test at least 30 times now i know the first code is correct which is p...0130 which is o2 sensor am i presuming that is a lambda sensor? if so how many is the one the car?

the other two codes being p....1502
                                    p....1230

i cant seem to find them anywhere ive check and double checked the codes.

the first code to come up is that what is wrong with it now and the other 2 old ones or could it possibly all of them?

ive just been told by my garage that the battery is naff so ive put a new one on today. which in case your asking they dont have a code reader. would the low volts cause engine managment light to come on? i must admit since i put the battery on its not staying on constantly. but it still does come on and go off.

also its had a new exhaust fitted about 4 months ago ive been told its all come loose where the exhaust meets the catalactic convertor.

would if any problems be caused by this and would that have anything to do with why my engine managment coming on and off?

hope someone can put me right about all this its doing my head in lol.

i also need to add a photo to another thread how do i do that please?

many thanks for reading cheers dave

0130---check wires on O2 sensor @ exhaust & check for any leaks in the vac pipes.
1502---- make sure the transponder chip in the blade part of the key is firmly in position (that could be your starting problem)
