Driving on the Right + Aircon
« on: 29 March 2010, 20:59:37 »

I am off to Holland to do a job for 4-6 weeks so am planning on taking my 2.6 CDX so I have wheels at the weekends.

Sounds a simple question, but what do I need to do to the headlights.  On my old Citroen C5 3.0L you just slapped on the Lucas black masking strips, but with Xeons and self leveling lights, I wondered if  the old ways worked, or if one needed some electric wizardry!!

I had my aircon checked out today by the firm who looked after my 2.2CD and the engineer said that my vent temperature was fluctuating.  It would cool to 7C and then gradually go up to 11c and then gradually back down to 7c.  he said the aircon was OK and had 750g of the 950g(ish) gas charge before he started.  There were no leaks so I assume that the temp control side might have a problem.  I had the climate control upgraded by Kevin Woods Tech2 last weekend and have done the Auto/Off trick to sync the blowers.

Anybody any ideas??
