Auxillary socket (cig type) boot for accessory
« on: 04 April 2010, 21:32:11 »

Hi,

I need to put an auxillary socket in the boot area for an accessory.  However, for the purpose I need to use it for, I need to wire it so that power is only live when the ignition is on.
Can anyone advise on where I can tap into any power source please ??.

Thanks.

Would have thought the easiest way would be to fit the rear blind switch in centre console then break into plug in top left hand corner of boot, added bonus of disabling the acc. socket via switch if not needed whilst ign. on

Thanks for that,

I'll do that as it seems a good idea actually.
