You can differ if you want, but all o2 handsets have been unlocked for years  ;)
Not entirely correct Mr tunnie.  iPhone, for example, is carrier locked...

Ah true iPhone is exception, all rest are though.

iPhone can be unlocked by O2 for a fee of just £15 though  :y
