Firstly, no need to shout!

Secondly, what is the head unit and does it say Bose on it?

PLEASE STOP SHOUTING!

When you first switch the head unit on does it say BOSE on the screen on the dash?

Beat me to it.

Robo.

Using ALLCAPS is referred to as "shouting." While it is permissible to occasionally use ALLCAPS to emphasize a point, people find entire sentences written in capitals hard to read. As a result "shouting" online is considered rude.

AFAIK all the amplifiers fitted as standard to Omegas were part of a BOSE system.

If you have cabling for an amplifier in the boot then it might be part of a BOSE install and we should be able to help you with the colour codes.

If the wiring isn't factory fitted then you really need a good auto electrician to make sense of what is there (or you need to trace it all yourself).

What trim level is your car (CD/CDX/MV6/Elite ?).

There was also a Philips amplifier option in early Omegas if I recall correctly, but not sure what it powered.

Remember to change all the speakers as well, as the 2 Ohm BOSE speakers will blow the Ripspeed head unit to pieces if you connect them to it.
