can someone remind me/point me in the right direction/ the elite estate had cruise control the v6 tourer does not, if i remember you can fit the wiper contol/multifunction and do something else to retro fit cruise ??

Does this help.

I've only fitted cruise on a TD facelift, and that was a doddle, plug and play. Different on other models.

would help if you told us exactly which V6 engine  ;)

But given you said Tourer that suggests a 2.5 V6, which will need stalk, actuator, plenum mount and all other bits and bobs for cable driven cruise system.

Its stalk only for DBW engines (2.2,2.5TD,2.6,3.2)

Facelift or not has nothing to do it with it, its what engine is fitted ;)  :y

All I know is TD facelift DBW is plug & play.

Facelift DBW petrol 2.2  is also the same but needs Tech2 to enable.

As regards the rest well, some need all the gubbins like switches on the pedals etc, but I'm no expert on that ::)

If your going for a cruise stalk it's recommended to get new, or one that's not seen much use :y
